I am an amateur photographer based in Trim. Photography is my passion and like meditation to me. I’m drawn to scenes with interesting light, shadows and textures. Famous landscape photographer Ansel Adams once said “ I believe the world is incomprehensibly beautiful, an endless prospect of magic and wonder”, this is most certainly what I have found since taking the time to look through a camera lens and I hope you can see this in my pictures too.

To start with it is more important to concentrate on your technique and composition than the camera, so you are right to start off small and move on when you feel you are ready. Sometimes being blinded by technology can be bad for your creative juices.
